No...it isn't that reason at all. Nintendo allowed Edgar Wright to use various samples and Nintendo theme songs (partcularly The Legend of Zelda) for the film, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Clearly, Nntendo has a motive and a desre to avoid unnecessary associations with Justin Bieber.
