Mindjack isn't made by SE. It's made by Feelplus and honestly I can't say that i'm shocked.

SE is just publishing it for them.

umm but SE would of put up the 20-30 million necessary for devolopment

Lol theres no way this game cost 20-30 mill to develop.

well on average an new ip costs 30 million to develop and an 3 year development time , while an sequel costs less at 20 million and has an 2 year development time because alot of tech and resources is used from the last game.

But mindjack could of been budgeted less at around 20 million or 15 million, what ever way you put it i believe SE is going to lose some money

Where do you get this information?

Maybe some of the major studios drop that kind of money when they are developing something big. But I'm sure that's not the average.

That's not true at all. Demon's Souls was made with a very small budget, and even after the sales of under 1 million, it was a huge success for atlus and sony..

Well that Info came from THQ boss of developing core games

And remember its an AVERAGE. GTA4 is estimated to have cost around 100 million, games like killzone 2 50 million. Its not cheap to produce games, its not like 20 years ago were ID made DOOM for 300,000. We are talking about 50-75 teams of people that want to be payed well for there effort over an 2-3 year period.

No way. And killzone 2 took 20 million to make, not 50 million. You can look it up on the wiki and there's also a source for it.

Unless you have another source for the 50 million thing.

not surprising; so far the only GOOD thing feelplus has done is Lost Odyssey.

double post; stupid posting issues

before i continue to argue. What is the true average for the devolopement of an multi platform boxed title that is wanted to be AAA by the publisher.
