My brother was complaining that there is a hack that people are using to delevel him, or something... maybe not delevel, but to lose a load of his unlocks... thing is, he also hacked his way to prestige 10, and all his mates managed to hack to "11th prestige", whatever the fuck that is.

note:this all happend while my m8 was staying over my house with his PS3 (i also have a ps3 but fortunetly brought mw2 and cod4 on xbox..)

i was not effected..but my freind was...he was legit player 5th prestege on mw2...so the hacks started to happen...and he joined a match with this invisible auto aim wall bang hacker...so he started to send hatefull messgages to him(since we both hate hackers and boosters and see no point in it and if you are a hacker U CAN GTFO AND KILL URSELF)....witch was not a verry good idear..so they kept sending hatefull messages back and forth like...F U and like ur mom stuff...so then the hacker reset him back to lv 1 (still 5th prestege tho) but he also reset all his challenges..titles...emblems...hacked his clan tag to say cu^% also hacked the little scrolling message when ur in the main multiplayer menu to say U GOT FKN OWNED CU#$

so we were both sooo devistated like WTF!!!!! HOW!??!?! OMG?!?! WTFBOOM...he was verry devastated...so we sent the hacker another message saying like u went to far..and like whats wrong with u...he replyd onyl once and said...i didnt go far enough...that was the last time we messaged him

after that my m8 never played mw2 again while he was at my house (still dont think hes played it since then)

report the user responsible to sony, trust me they will ban him for that extreme overreaction, ps the hacks are not due to the recent activities but the fact that activision left big massive holes in their games for people to more or less do as they pleased, i thought this was common knowledge??

Really? Why would they suddenly appear so amssivly after the ps3 was hacked? Maybe now its just too easy for joe blow to do. You got any facts to back up your claim? Or do you just rely on common knowledge and don't expect to put real facts out

Yes, last Monday. MW2.

Went into a ground war game, was fine. Another game on ground war was domination, was swapped to Rust map instead of the servers choice, mod added fast running and high jumps. I exited.

Went to another ground war match, arrived with the game just starting and everyone running on the spot (I wasn't), I moved a bit then everyone died once. Knew it was hacked so left and entered another match, this time normal team deathmatch. Noticed I no longer had a silencer. 

Exited that game to read my Clan tag as C*** and all of my legitimate prestige kills and barracks scores gone. Am now at level 1 in 3rd prestige (I think).

Luckily I was not 'hit' as bad as some people (see Chevinator123 above) who were literally reset back to nothing.

blackops was pretty much a hack fest since release people have only been able to get online with blackops recently thanks to thee 3.55 hack which happened about two weeks ago, yes the issues may have gotton worse but most of the hacking is due to the fact of the method they use for connecting players, i.e it is not dedicated therefore easy to hack

ps don't take it out on me its not my fault blackops was broken since day1

Way to compare common glitches like ninja defusing and private match glitch to Aimbot, wallhack, explosive rounds, deep penetration, ac-130 crash, ability to demote players and unlimited killstreaks - pretty much admin mod, that can be accessed by ANYONE, I've clocked 12 days of gameplay on MW2, and never had I experienced any of the things that were seen in that PS3 hacks video that has been removed from YouTube. The only major ones I've seen was the care package glitch and the javelin glitch, which were both on PS3 too but were hotfixed much quicker than on 360 due to some MS restriction or w/e.

Modern Warfare 2 has been around for more than a year now, COD4 about 3 years. Are you telling me that the hacking in the game does not coincide with the security breach of PS3? I don't see how Black Ops has any involvement in this discussion? They're probably in the process of ironing out the bugs, the bugs/glitches do appear in new games, and it does take a bit for the community to find and exploit them. The care package glitch was found about 3-4 months after the release of MW2.
