the shadow hearts series was great for the ps2, especially covenant. i would love to see the series return to the ps3 this gen. who else is with me?

As long as its not like the third one, im all for it. Covenant was particularly good. One of the best PS2 RPG for me.

Sure if it is like the 1st or 2nd. The 3rd one was a disappointment for me. It wasn't horrible but it was nowhere near the level of part 2.

Yes that would be great. I remember really enjoying the first game, I'd just come out of the FFX disappointment phase and Shadow Hearts 1 restored my faith in the JRPG genre at the time. Covenant was even better and the 3rd one was still good for what it was. However the developer isn't functioning anymore and I hear the first games didn't sell that well so it might not happen.

I bought most of my post 2002 RPGs this gen... so I never got to play the series (didn't want to fork 50$ for PS2 games). I'd welcome a new iteration (multiplat as I don't have the PS3).

As long as Shadow Hearts: From a New World gets put to sleep in the minds of the developers, and never head from again, i'm completely for the idea of a new Shadow Hearts

Covenant is one of my favourite RPG's from the PS2 gen, though it was a shame that they killed Alice T.T
