When the Packers crushed the Falcons.

How can you as a European care about American Football??

The same way I can care about Japanese RPGs.

Both concepts may seem foreign to you, but for me there is quite a lot to like about them.

But after all it's Japanese consoles that we've all been gaming on.

But American Football? There's got to be a unique story behind that.

X360, PCs? heck there's not even much japanese in the big hits of these 2 platforms

(though yeah you reply to rol, a nint fan)

Exams coming up.. hopefully i am lucky!

I got lucky on Monday with a relatively easy Maths exam, but then I got dashed on Friday, with a hardcore maths exam. So my week has been neutral pretty much. Next week is no fun, A maths and a Physics exam, I am going to get screwed, hard.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

This morning.

Well, the football world cup took place in the USA in 1994 and due to that I had read some stories on how football isn't all that popular in the states, so based on that I always was curious about the big American sports (also because there are many American movies, usually leaning towards comedy, that deal with these sports). Basketball and ice hockey were common enough in Europe at the time, so I knew them already, but wasn't a fan of those.

Baseball and American football were the two unknowns and it was rare to even see them on TV at all, much less live broadcasts. So it took another four years or so until I had chance to get into those sports. Baseball turned out to be a snorefest, but American football was pretty cool and I kept watching it every week (the one game that was on TV).

I knew there was something like that!

So due to American ignorance of international Football Rol got into American football.

I am from UK so it might be a bit different to where you live. But we got 6 modules to do over the course of 2 years, I've done 5 so far, had to sit 4 this January alone because I did pretty poorly on two of them the previous year lol. (C and D) but since I wanted a B overall I need at least a B in those.

It's just general maths, a bit of statistics and a bit of mechanics. So general mathematics.

Yea, that sounds way different...the way they run math around is is ridiculously stupid, I don't even know how to explain it.

Yeah ours is split into C1, C2, C3 and C4.

High school is year 12 and year 13.

In Year 12 we do C1, C2 and also either S1 or M1.

In Year 13 we do C3, C4 and either S2(if we did S1), M2(if we did M1) before or either S1 or M1, whichever one we haven't done.

So in the end we'll do 4 C's and either S1-S2, M1-M2 or S1-M1.

S - Statistics

M - Mechanics

C- Core.

You can do ALL that I said in one year and do further maths in Year 13 instead. But that is such a bitch, to me personally x)
