@OP

notice that you are portuguese... where did you bought the DFGT and what was the price tag on one of those... in a quick google search i only found G27 on stock and that is way over my bugdet...

OnTopic... man that is a tricky task for me since i only have one TV  and my wife will not understand why i will have to play 12 hours per day in two days... i think i will have to brake it by 3 days with 8 hours per day and that will melt down my PS3... these are the days that i wish i had a slim PS3 (better power consumtion and lot less noise from the fan)

I bought it from Worten on RioSul Shopping, two days before the release of GT5. They were having a massive sale on DFGT's, for 100€.

I think some Worten stores still have them available.

Do you have one of the fat PS3's? That's the one I have as well (first model, from March 2007), and I've been leaving it on for a couple of days straight to farm in B-Spec. It hasn't heated up one bit and it's running pretty well.

EXCLLENT work there total respect man.

i am only level 31 but i REALLY REALLY would like an x2010! Would you be able to send me one? well probaly not just asking..but would you help me with the challenge to get one? all i need is bronze but it is just way tooooo hard for me ...i have the g27 but i still cant do it...do u have any tips..all i need is bronze

thanks in advance

Thanks

Are you having difficulty getting Bronze on every track? Well, first, make sure you're driving with TCS off, since the X2010 has an amazing grip and hardly ever over-spins it's wheels, you don't actually need it on as it will only diminish your acceleration power coming out of corners.

Second, you could try activating Skid Recovery Force. There's no shame in using it for this challenge, as a lot of people that have even got gold in this event, had it on. It will allow you to "throw" the X2010 around corners, especially on Suzuka and Nürburgring. On Monza, you can always try to cut the second chicane, I've heard it allows you to shave almost 1.5 seconds off the time.

Lastly, I also recommend you watching and study other people's gold time videos, to learn what were the lines that they took. I'll link you mine from Suzuka and Nürburgring, I didn't save my Monza replay, sorry.

Thanks for that but it is still WAY too hard for me to even get bronze :( is there no chance that you will send me one of yours?? than i can send it back when i get my own one ..? i can send u any car i have that you want...i heaar a lot of people like the xj13 race car for a trade with the x2010 do you want that?

worten doesn't have it any more... (thats what their on-line store tells me) i will search better next weekend with time to spend on... yes, mine is a fat (60 gb model, refurbished from sony, since my august 2007 model, YOLD on me) and it ramp up the fan RPMs a few times during a race but nothing that really wories me, but since my original YOLD on me, i see it differently, always some thought in the back off my mind telling me, that nightmare can happen again... will buy a UPS for sure since my wife is always turning things on (heating, AC, oven, iron, hair dryer) and that kills my power, so many times while i am playing that isn't funny anymore...

would you be able to duplicat me an x210 please?

I don't duplicate my cars, i'm sorry. I'm completely against it, not because I own an X2010, but because I firmly believe that is a wrong tactic to use (i'm against dupes in every game, not just GT5. It's something I adquired from my Diablo II days).

That's why I already farmed 20M Cr to get the Mark IV and I'm halfway to farming another 20M Cr to get the P4, and I've already got the XJ13 Race Car as well, it's the prize for Indy 500 A-Spec

I can lend one of my X2010 to you, but only on the sole condition that it won't be used for duping. I've got nothing against people needing one to train, I just don't want my cars being used as duplicates.

I'm always dreading that my PS3 gets the YOLD as well, but so far, the only problem I've had with it was a broken Blu-Ray laser.

That's why, when I leave it on during the night to farm B-Spec endurance races, I always leave the least amount of things turned on (namely the PS3 running and my laptop charging). Also, during the day, there aren't many things turned on, but I guess that's the advantage of living in a college dorm room. If I was at my parents house, I wouldn't be able to leave it on for so long.
