@OP

notice that you are portuguese... where did you bought the DFGT and what was the price tag on one of those... in a quick google search i only found G27 on stock and that is way over my bugdet...

OnTopic... man that is a tricky task for me since i only have one TV  and my wife will not understand why i will have to play 12 hours per day in two days... i think i will have to brake it by 3 days with 8 hours per day and that will melt down my PS3... these are the days that i wish i had a slim PS3 (better power consumtion and lot less noise from the fan)

I bought it from Worten on RioSul Shopping, two days before the release of GT5. They were having a massive sale on DFGT's, for 100€.

I think some Worten stores still have them available.

Do you have one of the fat PS3's? That's the one I have as well (first model, from March 2007), and I've been leaving it on for a couple of days straight to farm in B-Spec. It hasn't heated up one bit and it's running pretty well.

worten doesn't have it any more... (thats what their on-line store tells me) i will search better next weekend with time to spend on... yes, mine is a fat (60 gb model, refurbished from sony, since my august 2007 model, YOLD on me) and it ramp up the fan RPMs a few times during a race but nothing that really wories me, but since my original YOLD on me, i see it differently, always some thought in the back off my mind telling me, that nightmare can happen again... will buy a UPS for sure since my wife is always turning things on (heating, AC, oven, iron, hair dryer) and that kills my power, so many times while i am playing that isn't funny anymore...

I'm always dreading that my PS3 gets the YOLD as well, but so far, the only problem I've had with it was a broken Blu-Ray laser.

That's why, when I leave it on during the night to farm B-Spec endurance races, I always leave the least amount of things turned on (namely the PS3 running and my laptop charging). Also, during the day, there aren't many things turned on, but I guess that's the advantage of living in a college dorm room. If I was at my parents house, I wouldn't be able to leave it on for so long.
