delete if old news.

Maybe fake.

That's probably the result of the GeoHot hack rather than an actual game in Alpha.

If an alpha stage really needed when you keep reusing the same formula? :z

Yes. To generate the hype.

I am very disappointed with what the COD franchise has become now. I LOVED COD4 and WaW to bits.. But this is just too much, although I think Black Ops is what MW2 should have been in terms of online balance.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2k11 you mean. At this point, there is very little separating NBA 2k12 or another sports game from the Call of Duty series. Played for multiplayer? check. Played competitively? check. Released annually? check.

Other than guns and multiplayer consisting of recycled maps from Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2, those are the only differences.

Kind of like Coca Cola and Pepsi at this point.

It looks a bit fake, but MW3 will almost certainly be in alpha testing

Sorry, I haven't played Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer in a while and my older brother is borrowing my copy of Black Ops. You will have to remind me of the Call of Duty jargon as I no longer speak Call of Duty. I do speak World of Warcraft so we can use their acronyms and great wording such as "you jelly bro?"

Let me clarify myself. I enjoy Call of Duty games. The single player is top notch. When it comes to multiplayer, I was not pleased with Modern Warfare 2's killstreak and deathstreaks. Great players should never be rewarded with the ability to kill lesser players more easily, while skulking in a corner.

I disagree with the way Call of Duty is being handled. Annual releases will milk any value the series once had the same way too many Tony Hawk and too many Guitar Hero games crippled their appeal.

For the life of me, I cannot fathom why Activision-Blizzard is treating Call of Duty the way it is with them knowing the way the Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk series panned out after too many releases in too few years.

I think at this point, Activision is realizing they may lose the lawsuit to West and Zampella. Thus forth, with the scenario of West and Zampella winning the rights to CoD making it a game published by EA, Activision is doing their best to get what they can from the series and in the process knowingly and maliciously destroying it.

I could be wrong, then again we have no other FPS to look to as an example of a series released annually like a 2K sports game. What we do have is Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero, both owned by Activision who were cash cows for their time and have now since faded. Call of Duty may be immune to this, but I highly doubt it as FPS is a far more competitive genre than skateboarding games and music games.

Nah what I said was "Same Shit Different Day" in regards to the COD franchise as a whole x), patronizing COD using the COD jargon. Full of win.

That's obviously fake!

history shows that none of the last COD games have ever be tested on a Playstation before release

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
