Aerobiz and Aerobiz: Supersonic.

Terranigama ~ One of the best RPGs out there that nobody has ever played.

Interesting this gets brought up. I acquired both the Genesis (MD) version of Aerobiz and also Master of Monsters on the Genesis off someone in college. Aerobiz is a hardcore business sim, and demanding on players.

Supersonic in particular was so awesome, although I remember as a child I once mistook the red bars as the profitable one, and so used Condors to go from London to Paris.
As for me, there are several, but I'd like to nominate
Robotrek, great game. but when it comes to good games not getting the spotlight The Sega Saturn was the home for such misfortunates, to name a few
Dragon Force (brilliant strategy game)
Albert Odissey (RPG, very old school)
Magic Knight Rayearth (seriously, cool game)
I never got to play Rayearth, but the other two are some damned fine experiences. I actually bought a Saturn just for Dragon Force. Considering I played it through at least twice with each leader, I'd say the investment was worth it! Too bad my Saturn's memory is broken, so it deletes all the saves as soon as I turn off the system. :-/
There's a game for the original Gameboy called Gargoyle's Quest. It starred one of the bosses from Ghost's N Goblins but this game was better than any game from that series. It was like Castlevania with RPG elements. I'll post the youtube review when I get home (if I don't forget.) You wouldn't believe the Gameboy could pull this one off-vit was so ahead of its competition.
There was an even better sequel for the Snes called Demon's Crest. It was right there with Super Metroid as far as music, atmosphere, and exploration. The best example of the "Metroid-Vania" style that I could find outside of the two big guns in this genre. Look at the youtube videos for these games and hope that they become Virtual Arcade titles someday!

Seconded, IMO one of the greatest RPGs ever made

I remember that game. It was awesome. On the other hand, the character that you played was lightning fast in Ghouls 'n Ghosts, but moved like molasses in Demon's Crest.
