I personally thought that Metro 2033 concept as amazing, but poorly executed. I am not sure what happened with the game when I got lost on the surface wondering for half an hour and it taking me on average 2-3 headshots to kill the basic of enemies. If they have roughly the same concept but much better executed gameplay I will be sure to give this franchise another go.

Gunplay was kinda funky at times...but concept and atmosphere were great.

If Metro 2033 had tight gunplay like FEAR it would have been one of last years best games.

Yeah it was extremely horrible for me, I usually play alot of COD and other FPS so my accuracy is quite honed, so when I shoot something in a head I expect it to die rather than run towards me.. After I put around 3 bullets into it's head! And those real ammunition rounds were such a bitch to find lol!

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

I thought the game was really well done minus a couple parts. You're not rambo -- that's the point. On hard it was a lot more challanging than most modern FPSes, but very rewarding.

The attention to detail is what really sets this game apart from other FPSes. Enviroments are bleak and scary, the sense of desperation is great as ammunition isn't given out like candy and environmental hazards are deadly. On armoured enemies, gaps had to be hit for a takedown with throwing knives. Ability to use stealth to your advantage mattered. It wasn't perfect and there's room for imporvement, but it was nice to see something relatively unique and well-done from a little known developer.

you should have aimed for the neck, most enemies ware some form of helmet which can stop your bullets, once i got the sniper pistol I took out most human enemies by stealth and neck shots.

So basically what the guy is saying is CoD style shooting in metro 2034? Bummer
