Forums - Microsoft - Electronic Arts Xbox LIVE Discount Items Revealed

Following Electronic Theatre’s report earlier today on the announcement of an Electronic Arts sale set to hit Xbox LIVE next week, the details of what items will be included have been revealed. Following Activision’s example of discounting by 50%, Electronic Arts will be offering some of their biggest Xbox LIVE Arcade releases of 2010 and a whole load of downloadable content (DLC) at a significantly reduced price.

Included in the Electronic Arts promotion are Xbox LIVE Arcade titles Battlefield 1943, DeathSpank and RISK: Factions, all available at half price for the duration of the sale.  Additionally, DLC for Dragon Age: Origins will be reduced, as well as the popular Hot Zone Pack for Medal of Honor. Sadly, at this point, it seems as though Electronic Theatre’s hopes that Dead Space Ignition and the Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit DLC would be included remain wishful thinking at this point.

It is possible that more titles will be added prior to the launch on the promotion on January 18th.

Not regretting paying full price for Risk:Factions, sunk 50 hours into that game, easy. I personally didn't think Deathspank as a worthy investment at the time, but seriously considering picking it up.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

do we know the new prices of those games???

Thanks for the heads up Nsanity!

EA is just happy when people are willing to pay for PC games. That's why Steam has better deals.
