Hahahahahahaha....NO. If I ever see Jho before I'm ready to fight him (Not for a LONG time), I'll run screaming. I do need to upgrade my weapons (Primary weapon: Chieftain's GS, Atk: 748-811 depending on boosts etc.) and armor, though (Lv. 3 Barroth armor, gemmed for L Attack, 1 Adrenaline, Marathon Runner, Negative attributes nullified, 106 Def.)

Something tells me that 106 (141 with boosts) defense won't cut it in high rank. And I have GS, LS, and SnS weapons ready for use...Still no SA, Guns, or Lances (working on Sharq Attack).

I'll try some high ranks quests soon...

Definitely. My defence when I killed jho was 355, and my attack was 900ish (used a Switch-Axe)

So you have some way to go, but still, quero is a key quest so you may as well do it to just get a taste of it

Well, today was officially my best day in MH carrer ever.

-I fought 3 Lagiacrus and got 2 saphires in the third one!!! (I forged Abyssal Striker)

-I fought 2 Uragaans and got a ruby on the second one!!

-I fought 2 Alas, I got (for the first time EVER!) a webbing (I forged Ala Sword), one in each Ala, and an Azure Dragongem on the second one.

I need 3 more webbings to feel finished though

Wow!!! You have great luck! The first time that I fought Jhen, I got an Earth Dragongem, which is fairly rare, but that's the rarest item I've gotten so far. I was going to forge the Rathian armor set (before I found out that Rathalos or even Lagi armor is better for the most part), and so I have a ton of Rath scales (like 70), and every other Rathian part except for the Rathian Plate...Hahaha

Ok, so to all huge hunters give me a tip:

I found a way to have the complete Helios Armor (And I want it that way) without blunt edge or demon bless (via rarity upgrade), and I have 2 choices:

a. I can have HG eraplugs, Sharpness plus 1, Capture Guru and Halve Hunger, however I need to farm a pesky deep dragongen, or...

b. I can have HG earplugs, Sharpness plus 1 and capture guru, and I could make it pretty much right now, but I wouldn't have half hunger.

What's your tip?

What did you end up getting in the end?
