Killzone 3 is to have 70 minutes of cutscenes according to figures doled out according to the official classification from the BBFC. 

Killzone 3, Guerrilla Game's second first-person outing on the PlayStation 3 and one of the console's highest profile games of 2011, has unsurprisingly also been given an 18 certificate, the second highest rating given out by the board. 

The official classification cites the strong violence and language for the 18 certificate, though states that no cuts were made. 

Killzone 2 remains one of the PlayStation 3's very best exclusive titles, and its sequel promises to better it in every way. It's coming out this February, and expect to see more on Killzone 3 in the coming weeks.

why is this a big deal/news... 70 mins of cut scenes isn't that long - especially over 12 to 15 hours.

I like cutscenes, I like to see how the story is narrated, so I am glad this game has cutscenes. The more the merrier.

for me its like more cutscenes = more story...and i dont see a problem with that...

70 minutes over a course of 10 hours is not that much, especially compared to the average FF and MGS game

I like cutscenes if done well and if it's well spaced apart.

Killzone 2 needed more, this sounds too little for my liking to be honest. I prefer MGS4 style LOL but naw... If we're talking 10 hours gameplay and its 70 minutes cut scene then thats a bit ;_;..

If its 8 hours.. gameplay then yeah okay.

I just like to be entertained and I love the story. I wanna know how long the fucking SP is.

Cool. I think this is more than what Killzone 2 had.
