Forums - Sony - For the fans: What PSP2 games do you want to see

Let's see, here goes my 10 games:

1. Uncharted with coop!

2. inFamous 

3. Resistance spin-off with common people trying to survive around the world, up to 16 players online

4. Resident Evil

5. Patapon

6. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

7. White Knight Chronicles, making the coop part of the PS3 as the core for this version

8. Mortal Kombat

9. Silent Hill

10. MotorStorm

 

And that's only for those already existing IPs. Would love to see a lot of new IPs coming from Sony and 3rd party utilizing the hardware and it's features.

Agito is suppossed to be one of PSPs last big games and is built from the ground for PSP, wouldn't a port just be not as good and won't push PSP2 as much? Wouldn't a new full FF be better?


lol no no this is absolutely fine. this is on topic and about games on the PSP2. and I agree about Agito, but since we have heard next to nothing on it for so long something tells me they might keep it for PSP2 launch might be wrong tho. Tbh I don't care either way as I just want the game at this point :D

Nintendo themselves said 3DS development costs were going to be significantly higher than DS costs, so there.

I'll just pretend you didn't indirectly call PSP's games superior to DS'... quality is in the eye of the beholder.

Anyway, as for games on PSP2, a new Patapon would be fun imo. ^^

Not meaning to troll or flame in any way, but if you look objectively at such games, they're generally without exception inferior to their console counterparts. Wouldn't you want something that's better suited to the system and makes use of the handheld's unique features? Utilizing a handheld's strong points instead of trying real hard to be games that would ultimately be better and sell better on a home console? Also, such a direction makes much more sense, from a business standpoint. Just look at PSP vs DS for proof.

and i'll ask you again the same question , show me a 3DS game that isn't a console based game, or a remake or a port.

Uncharted, Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid are definitely franchises that I want to see on the PSP2. I would also add God of War (especially because Ghost of Sparta was pretty awesome for a handheld game), but the story is complete now and I don't know if it is a good idea to add something to the storyline.

A well working FPS game is also something I'd like to see.

I would actually like to see a remake of the first Killzone. I never got a chance to play it on PS2...

Excuse me? What's your problem? I'll thank you not to take such an attitude with me for no reason at all while I'm merely discussing things this thread's about in a civil and reasonable manner.

As for your 2nd remark, you mean a game like the 3DS Layton game, a franchise that started on and has remained solely portable? Or the Layton vs Ace Attorney game? Or Nintendogs Cats, same story? Tetris, which started on the original GameBoy of all things? Please, man. -___-
