Tempting price, but I think I'm gonna rent it. I can't imagine it has much replay value.

Quite the contrary, actually: if you're even remotely a high-score kind of guy, this game is packed with replay value.  But if you're not, then a rental would be best.

I'm kind of a high score guy on the Xbox because of leader boards.

But since Wii doesn't really offer that I'll most likely just play it once.

Actually S&P2 does have online leaderboards, though its limited to viewing by other players of Sin and Punishment 2

@NoName. As far as i remember, i did beat it on Isa and Kachi mode on some difficulty or other. Unless i skipped the credits or something

It was subtle, but

*spoilers*

Kachi is actually Achi, a big member of the race that wants to destroy humanity.  She tricked the heroes of the first game into thinking she was on their side, but ultimately turned on them and tried to destroy Saki's Earth (she was the final boss).  Her motives still aren't entirely clear, and neither is her allegiance, but she might represent a huge threat to humanity.

I'm going to have to play that again, because i remember that from Sin and Punishment 1 (though i never got around to beating that one at all, but i got enough of the story to piece together what was really going on), but i didn't get that at all out of S&P2

I also really didn't get how vastly the earth changed between the two, if Isa was actualy Saki and Airen's kid, couldn't be more than 30 years later at absolute most, but earth went from something vaguely recognizable to us, to this place totally covered over with plates

i saw it at 16£ on amz last week... it's back at 32...

(and some french store had it at 10€... but as bait for the sales season that just opened as it was directly sold out.)

The final part that puts it all together is a brief cutscene that airs after the credits, once you beat Isa And Kachi mode.

As for the Earth part, there are multiple Earths.  The one in this game has already been destroyed; you're just playing in its ruins, and you're pretty much the only humans on the planet.  Isa, and the humans chasing him, come from a different Earth entirely, which in turn may or may not be a DIFFERENT Earth than the one in the first game.

Long story short, ignore the plot and just shoot stuff!

Thanks for the heads up.  Just snagged it!

its still criminal that this game bombed so hard, with that being said I still have to get it

DUDE!! They've got TONS of other awesome deals as well!!

for $20 you could get Other M(!) or Sky Crawlers or Ivy the Kiwi which I personally adore!

for $16 you could get RE Darkside Chronicles/Umbrella Chronicles, De Blob or NPC PIkmin!

Muramasa for $13, and many decent games for $10-$15 like mushroom men, blast works, Shawn white snowboarding...

and tons more!!

I really wish they did international shipping or I'd be all over those deals!

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!
