Forums - Sony - Sony To Announce The PSP2 in Tokyo JAN 27TH?

It seems like the wait is early over, as reports are coming in that Sony is set to reveal the PSP2 on January 27th.  VG247 ran with the news earlier, and MCV have also confirmed it is true but interestingly states it has some “exclusive industry insight – some of which will come as a huge surprise.”

This makes sense - if they want to stop people from buying 3DS they have to show something worth waiting.

Is that the same day as quarterly reports? They'll probably give a sales forecast for it. About time they finally officially announced this.

This would be nice. With the dual analogue XPERIA Play coming, this would be very nice and might mean that the Play is the iPhone to the PSP2's iPod touch, which would mean games for both maybe....

Hopefully, Agito has been pushed on to this platform, and hopefully something from Sony Bend will be a launch game, because hardware is nothing without games
