"1 or 2 games" is releasing in January itslef, at least according to Sony they are.
Almost everything else has slated for release in 2011 in E3 or some other event.

The ones coming January 2011 have release dates. If the release dates move then they are delayed. Also if you look back on some of those announcements or research them you'll find that some of them were just announced . Like Twisted Metal. It was only announced at E3 and David Jaffe said recently he hopes to release it in Fall 2011. Thats not a release date just that he hopes it releases then.
Also Socom 4 got delayed but Zipper never said it will be here in 2011. They just announced it was delayed and we assumed. The Last Guardian never had a coming 2011 or a release date. Same with FF14. When the delay was announced they never mentioned a 2011 release date. They just gave there reasons why it delayed.

And "hopes" of developers are counted. The reason why developers don't give a solid date is because its difficult to say when, so they give a vague idea like fall 2011 and such.
|
But a lot of them havn't gave a vague fall 2011 date. Jaffe said he hopes it releases in fall 2011 when answering questions for the fans at christmas. If hope counts then 90% of games get delayed. Also even if hope does count thats still only 1 game out of about 6 on that list that don't have a vague 2011 release date.
Heres what they said about FF14......
It is not our wish to release a simple conversion of the Windows version in its current state, but rather an update that includes all the improvements we have planned," said Wada, "For that reason, we have made the difficult decision to delay the release of the PlayStation 3 version beyond the originally announced date of March 2011."
So if FF14 doesn't make 2011 now your going to say it got delayed again even though they clearly never mentioned anything about its future release date other than its past the March 2011 date???? That could be April 2011 or it could be April 2012.
Thats why you need to get the meaning of delayed straight first before doing polls and lists like that. Its misconception and because of that misconception when some of those titles like the Last Guardian don't make 2011 we will have threads and people saying that it got delayed when in fact it never had a release date or VAGUE release date to start with. Only assumptions.
