After FF9 I have found every mainline Final Fantasy to be mediocre (10, 13), crap (11, 12) or absolute shit (14). So yes the franchise is shitty for me and I don't know why it still sells. I just hope it dies quickly and gives good games (atlus JRPG's, The Last Story) a chance to shine instead of hogging all the limelight everywhere. The Last Story will put Final Fantasy to shame now.


I agree about X,XI,XIII and XIV, but in my opinion anyone who says Final Fantasy XII is crap havent played it.The game is a pure RPG experience.

Versus gameplay has been leaked, it was an extremely short reveal though. I cannot wait for more.


we've learned pretty much nothing from that though. I'm just going to keep my expectations low as usual so I might get impressed.

Looks like another FF to skip over, I'll probably just give up on the series seeing as it going multiplatform made it suck way bad. FF is not cool anymore, I wish it would be more like FF IV or VII, when they were actually good.

Yeah a game going multiplatform has everything to do with it's gameplay. Nothing with the fact that the developer is either losing their touch or the the game itself would have been pants. Of course not. *Rolls eyes*.

SE gave me some great gaming experiances last generation and the generation before that when they were Squaresoft. However its been nearly 4 years now without a good experiance from SE and I've moved on. They messed up big time with FF13 and they messed up big time with there PS3 fanbase, some who've been with them for years. The only thing SE can do to redeem themselfs with the PS3 crowd  is release FF Verses 13 as an exclusive to the PS3 .  The PS3 has so many great exclusives now. Its not like 2008 when we needed exclusives so a game like FFV13 going multiplat after all SE's promises will just send people over to other franchises. I'll buy FFV13 if its exclusive but after how horrible FF13 was if FFV13 goes multiplat I'll just save 50 euros to spend on the next great exclusive going to the PS3.

The chances of this going multi are pretty good tbh. Nomura can say he wants it exclusive and to stay that way but he doesn`t have the power to keep it that way. If the higher ups ask it to go multi..so shall it be done. At this point based off Square`s recent comments and hitory, a multi announcement would not come as a shock. I doubt it will be announced as multi at this event however, most likely bet would be at E3.

Ahhh the old E3>TGS>*random conference*>E3 then repeat.  I just remembered something.  Wasn't Versus supposed to be announced multi like 2 years ago?  Just saying.  Guess we'll have to wait till E3....or maybe TGS....or maybe..... you know what nevermind.

I am not saying it will happen. I am simply saying that`s where I would expect for it to be announced as multi if it happens. A small event like what Square has planned is not where I would expect such a huge announcement to be made but... you never know I guess.

Xbox 360 wants to Kinect &  PS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

I thought you wanted it to stay exclusive?? either way i think they do owe their fans who've supported their products, and now those fans are on the 360, so imo they should release on the 360 to support those fans old and new. so i think they do owe the 360 fans a multiplatform release. the PS3 has too many exclusives anyway, we dont really need this now anyway imo, 2 years ago yes, but not anymore.
