Forums - Nintendo - 3DS battery life is 3-to-5 hours for 3DS games

I would be surprised at the battery life being that short, but I guess the 3D aspect drains the juice really fast

Yeah, and while we're at it, how the hell do they expect me to play with this thing?

Nintendo sucks at cords & cables >:(

.... aaaaanyways, It's probably just for shows like this pic ^

That would probably have to be my one problem with the Wii is I wish they would have made that cable at least a little longer.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

I never cared about battery life as I use all my handhelds only at home.

Then what's the purpose with a handheld?

That is a pretty lame defense considering that it's very reasonable to assume most people playing handhelds or other portable devices are... using them on the go?

Maybe it's just me.

Purpose, lame defense? I'm not defending anything and I can use my handheld wherever I want.

That was to slimebeasts' reply, not to your comment.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

I was just joking in that post *awkward*

I meant that early pictures are just there for show, not to demonstrate actual scale - - - - just look at the length of the cord there, it's actually much longer in reality

But now that I think about it, it would have been nice to be able to extend my arms all the way >_<

I would think someone would be selling extension cords for the Wii Remote plugs. Going to see if there are any.

EDIT: Here's one. Not the best solution, but at least it's there.

There are extensions available if you really wanted one, but it'd feel weird with a little plug in the middle of the cord

EDIT: lawl, nevermind

Also, I don't think I really need one, personally - - - - - I never feel restricted when I play

That sucks; when you're playing multiplayer and lose, it's too short to strangle the other guy.  ;)

Veder Juda is hand crafted from EPIC FAIL, and is a 96% certified Looney; the other 4% is a work in progress.

So is this something they can improve upon with future models? Looking at the $250-$300 price tag and low battery life just made the choice much easier for me.

It's just that simple.

Sorry guys, I don't know if this has already been posted:

It sees that it will last less than the dsi, but I think it's to be expected considering all its features.

seems the more advance handheld consoles become, the more they look like actual home console.
