Forums - Nintendo - My Wii is having display problems (RF Unit?)

So...on my HDTV it works just fine, go to the S-Video input and its clear and audio works.

When I tried to play it on my other SDTVs in my house, I can only see in black and white but the audio works...and then the visual disappears completely. I do not know how to configure the TVs so that it can recognize the Wii is not supposed to be in S-Video format anymore.

Around the Network

There is no RF unit in the Wii (RF is used for the connector to a antenna/cable port). This sounds more like your TV than the Wii. Try resetting all video to default and see if that helps? Make sure progressive scan and widescreen are off.

(Write on wall or PM if adding)

You need a rgb cable for a modded wii on old sdtv:s or to use "backups" from your own region (ntsc/pal).
