Forums - Sales - Mario Kart Wii - Will it EVER stop???

Simply unbelievable. Mario Kart Wii, in it's 142nd week on the market, without being bundled, manages to make it into the Worldwide Top 10 software chart in the busiest chart week of the year. Simply astonishing. Where will Kart finish? 30 million certainly seems possible at this point...What do you think?

Bah!

I did not realize that MK Wii was available in a bundle. I'm in America and had never seen it bundled. Didn't realize they had a bundle of it in Europe. As for MK DS, hasn't that been available in a bundle for some time? I think it has. Either way, both games are fantastic, and 30 million for MK Wii seems pretty much set at this point.

Bah!

for a not heavily bundled game this is really awesome...nearly unbelievable...but this game is so much fun and as a Wii owner u gotta own it...this game will easily surpass 30 mill...

Nintendo has a history of odd bundles in Europe... they bundled games like Super Mario Kart, Mario Paint and Star Fox with SNES way back when too.

I am thinking it will stop around 32-35 million.

Because it blew my little American mind when I found out!  There was even a bundle with both Zelda 3 and Star Fox (best bundle EVAR!).

afaik, the only bundles America saw were with Mario World, Mario World & All-Stars, DKC, Zelda 3 and the SNES redesign got a Yoshi's Island bundle... don't think there were any others, but I'm not 100% sure?

Yeah I'm not sure I find those pairings odd, either. In fact I believe that we got our SNES with Mario Paint, if I recall. I can see why Nintendo would have bundled any one of those games with the SNES - they are all very different from one another and each showed off different things that the system could do.
