Me too, I really want to mod my ps3 when I learn some more about and people start to take advantage of it.

I think the purpose of the Jailbreak thing was to be able to run unsigned apps on the PS3 without checking if they were legitimate or not.

Now that everyone can sign whatever app they want, there's no need to buy any Jailbreak dongle to "mod" your PS3. An unmodded PS3 should be enough, you probably will have to download the patch to a USB drive and simply click on "install"... the patch should be installed in the game data folder just like every "real" patch you download and next time you boot the game it should be in english.

 

At least that's what I understand from everything that's been said about the "scene" up to now.

So, in short... you shouldn't need to mod your PS3.

They should just plug in the translation in the 360 english version to the ps3 version. That should cut off so much work.
Being greedy here, but after they translate graces, they should also plug in that translation to the ps3 version. haha

So i'm getting the impression here that we don't even need to do any work on our PS3 in order to get the game in english, all we need to do is import it, then download the patch and get it onto a flash drive and plug that into the PS3 then install it and the game should be in english? If that is the case then I'm definitley going to do so once it is fully translated. What I want to know though is, can the translation team, rip audio files from the english Xbox 360 version, even the unused MA's from the game and put that into the patch so we can have English Voice acting? That may be asking for too much though.
