Better than EA, that's for sure.

I disagree, mainly because I cannot think of an Activision game series that was not milked to death or currently being milked. Come to mention it, have their been any fun Activision games this gen?

Hmmm...can you really say that for a company that has been releasing a new sports game every year for about 4 or 5 different sports that has a minimal amount of stuff changed other than new rosters?

You have a point, but EA also has some amazing other ips, whereas I can think of none for Activision. If you can list some, I would like to hear it. For EA:Dead Space, Mirrors Edge, Battlefield, NFS, Mass Effect, and probably more seeing as those were off the top of my head.

Forgot Dante's inferno, the most under rated game of the generation.

Activision to start charging to Call of Duty multiplayer soon? I don't know the reliability of the analysist(s) in the story, but I recall Activision talking about it.

It's interesting that TF2 gets mentioned because if Activision does start charging,

1) TF2 has had TONS of updates and TONS of content has been added for free. How much is Activision charging for a handful of maps?

2) Even if I'm not too keen on all the hats and crap being added to TF2 (especially things you have to pay for), you can still get a lot of it (or just about all of it?) for free via random drops.

Won't happen, every time something of this sort gets mentioned, both Sony and Microsoft come back saying it isn't going to happen.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

For some reason Activision gets hate because  Kotick is a blow hard

Well then you must hate Sony: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IH2w2l1JTs4&feature=related

Sony sucking four years ago and Bobby Kotick sucking now are two very different things.

Did Sony fans go around saying I hate Sony because the president is an arrogant douche

Yes kill activision so all the workers lose their jobs.

Most publishers are the same..all this hand wringing and crying is funny

You know whats funny? ripping on Bobby. HE just sets himself up for it. He really does. I now you laughed at my comment earlier. Admit it.

A lot of idiots on this website jumped on the bandwagon of hating activision. Look at other companies, they are way better. Hell compare them to Viacom and make them look like mother teresa.

My hate to them just comes from what they tried to do to Brutal Legend.

Hmm.... for me, it is Kodick that has made me really not like them.  Beyond this though, as far as Brutal Legend goes, I think what Double Fine tried to do with Brutal Legend was enough to turn me off to it.  Sorry, as much as I want a game that would be like Herzog Zwei, the sticking the need to do Guitar Hero in the middle of battle with a 360 controller, was enough to put a fork in the interest I would of had with it.

Yeah Activision...thanks for $15 map packs on MW2 and BO, no dedicated servers in your games, letting your best developer (infinity ward) fall apart, etc.

Activision is a joke. A baboon could run their company and do just as good of a job.

I love FPS'S and I love activision.

I got something better to thank Activision for - Goldeneye on the Wii! Thanks for bringing back TRUE FPS gaming! Local split screen multiplayer has returned! And the updates are excellent!

Wii owners, if you like FPS, you definitely should get Goldeneye!

speak for yourself bro, and remove all those franchise you named as selling more because of activision, it's insulting.
