Activision to start charging to Call of Duty multiplayer soon? I don't know the reliability of the analysist(s) in the story, but I recall Activision talking about it.
It's interesting that TF2 gets mentioned because if Activision does start charging,
1) TF2 has had TONS of updates and TONS of content has been added for free. How much is Activision charging for a handful of maps?
2) Even if I'm not too keen on all the hats and crap being added to TF2 (especially things you have to pay for), you can still get a lot of it (or just about all of it?) for free via random drops.
