Yes, thank you activision for putting the final nail in the fps coffin.

Boy I hear you look at those slumping black op's sales

Not even five minutes. I was wondering who how long it would take before someone tried to defend the lack of quality in the fps market with its high sales.

I really do fail to understand where the lack of quality argument comes from.  Do people really think fps' this generation are that much worse than the ones from last generation?  I'm assuming you are basing quality solely on past games from the same genre, obviously, as that is how you should do it with video games, unless it is a new genre.

Yes thats exactly what I'm basing them on- and they fail miserably while getting praised for doing things that were done in the genre 5, 10 and sometimes 15 years ago.

Sorry but that is not fact but opinion

IMHO they are tense well made games

Ok, I can understand where if you are looking at quality solely of the campaign, you may see them as a little worse, as I thought the PS2 medal of honor game campaigns were pretty much the sweetest things ever.  But its not like they are terrible games...gaming has evolved to online in regards to fps, and that is the aspect that a lot of the high selling games shine in.  Even though some may disagree with me, Call of Duty games do have pretty sweet online...it is all about taste though, and I can totally see how somebody may even see the online as dismal.

You realize I'm not comparing them to console shooters right?

Well, I figured you were at least figuring them in, as they should be figured in when it comes to calculating quality of new console shooters.  I'm also just going to mention now...I wasn't aware that PC shooters had things 15 years ago that games now are being praised for, could you please go a little further on what you mean by that?

Online modes- player control- things of that nature. Consoles still lag behind tremendously.

I'm having a REALLY tough time figuring out why if you think they are so much worse, you seem to still have several console shooters in your game library.  You have also went on to purchase Killzone 2 after purchasing Killzone, and Resistance 2 after purchasing Resistance.  I just fail to understand how people can only bash console shooters, yet they continue buying them.  Clearly the first game of those series had good enough quality that you thought the 2nd was worthy of purchase?  Or did you just purchase them for no particular reason?

Lets see, he wants to raise the cost of gaming to the heavens. Runs his mouth about tons of sh-t and is a greedy f'ing tyrant.  what other reason.

Oh yea, if he can screw you out of any of your money he will. He is your regular douche master.
