Coincidentally, I read this interesting article today: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-11963364

No I live off the land hunting and farming my own food, I am truly compleatly self sustainanable and do not rely on the corporate machine for anything.

That sounds like the talk of a green propaganda campaign!

Well don't insult my lifestyle. :P

And yes it was inspired by Henry Daved Thoreau and "Waldon Pond," an American author so I do not know if Europeans know of him, good stuff.

I can't tell if you're being serious... but I was just saying that what you said sounds like its been heavily influenced by green marketing; so by even "avoiding the system", you've been influenced by media to do so.

LOL, funny vid.

On topic: No, I have never bought a product because of any commercial, billboard, flier etc.

"I don't understand how someone could like Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, but not like Twilight!!!"

"Last book I read was Brokeback Mountain, I just don't have the patience for them unless it's softcore porn."

(The Voice of a Generation and Seece)

"If you cant stand the sound of your own voice than dont become a singer !!!!!"

                                                                               (pizzahut451)

Of course I have, that's what marketing is about and no one is immune.

If you have ever bought a game console, becuase it said "Playstation", "Sega", "Nintendo" or "Xbox" on it, then you've been influenced by marketing.

If you say you didn't buy it because of the maker, you bought it because of a game, your expectation for that game was either influenced by marketing for that game, or your percieved quality of the studio (Brand name marketing).

It really is omnipresent.

I am joking. I am trying to show that in modern society it is immpossible to not be influenced by some sort of marketing. Green marketing I guess works, but I obviously do not live the way I said as I am writing this message with a labtop.
