Uncharted has a better visual disign than bioshock, but hey its te age of wii60 vs playstation 3.
smg definitely deserved best audio design. the music was absolutely top notch and the sound effects were great too. the music was like something out of an epic rpg. also glad it got best game since wii games seem to get shunted and ignored by lots of video game magazines/websites,etc.(anyone watch the spike video game awards, wii basically completely ignored except samuel l. jackson making weed jokes about mario and miyamoto. smg wasn't even nominated for best game.
the only questionable one there is halo 3 innovative although it did have those two innovative features.

Simply the best game by far this year with Portal a distant 2nd and Bioshock 3rd.

Galxy is getting the respect that it greatly deserves. (imo Bioshock should be runner up for game of the year not Orange Box since it is just old games with new features!!)

what i really am surprised by is that multiplats on the 360 are way superior to the ps3 versions!! (i thought that the ps3 was 3 times as powerful as the 360??)

I disagree with Valve as best developer. Valve's name is on the Orange Box, which has significant issues on PS3. I think Infinity Ward deserves it most.
As for Halo 3, it is hard to say but that game is addicting for some crazy reason. It is not that it is an innovative idea, it is more that they have made small innovations in everything from online play to the campaign. Does that make it more innovative then Portal or Crysis? They chose to innovate the concepts, Halo 3 is more of a innovation of the mouse trap.
spike tv video game awards is a complete disgrace anyway. (i prefer bafta or g-phoria.)
