Nothing beats my hoop and stick gaming system when it comes to energy efficency!
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
- George Orwell, ‘1984’
Wow, I so didn't expect that.

Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped: the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA
bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.
In general, this isn't a surprise but I am a little shocked by how much more energy the "efficient" slim versions of the PS3 and XBox 360 use ... They're still using about 5 times as much energy as the launch Wii did, and (IIRC) about twice as much energy as the launch Gamecube and PS2 did.
Not surprising since before launch Nintendo proclaimed their next console would use 33% less energy then the gamecube while everyone else was ramping up the power needed for their consoles.
