most likely its gears of war 1 and 2 combined into one package with a trailer for gears of war 3 for $29.99  

just like u can get the saints  row games in one package for $29.99

why would they re-sell 2 farily recent games?

because no one has ever collected recent games into less expensive packages before, it definitely never happened with grand theft auto or call of duty, , they just don't exist, how horrible of microsoft to offer 2 games together at a good price, they are defintely way out of line trying to sell 2 similar games together for a lower price than they would sell them individually, economy of effort is bad

plus lets face it, when god of war collection came out the games were 4 and 2 years old, definitely not recent at all unlike gears of war 2 and 1 which are 2 and 4 years old respectively, definitely a completely different
