too much work IMO , but pretty neat, it would work a lot better if they could able to track fingers, then i would assign each command to each finger on my hands , its way easier than paunching the air left and right.

I think your right but I would think that it is going to be the next installment on the next generation. It gives people a reason to get excited again. Kinect with  finger and a hole new host of funtionality. You know that people will eat it up.

I know I will.

Alright..................... This has proven that Kinect won't work with core games argument is BS.

I disagree.  You can  see the lag in between the actions and in a game that requires timing and precision, that is unacceptable.(rts, Fps, tps, racing, etc) Also, for "core" games that most gamers play for extended periods of time(like WoW) Kinect would not be the controller of choice, seeing as it requires to much activity. Of course, Microsoft can prove me wrong if they release a good "core" game for the Kinect.

Let's not forget this is fanmade and hacked, it's quite clear a experienced dev would do it a lot better.

Of course, but Kinect just does not work well for some genres such as Fps, tps, rts,etc

Wow I guess this just proves that KINECT will work with core games just fine....just have to have someone creative enough behind it to make it work.

Its proven for the PC not for the consoles

Ummmm no i'm saying that this video proves that KINECT will work with core games.

Its being supplemented with additional software is what he's saying. It wouldn't work on xbox. Not that you should want it to, pumping your fist into the air is far from an intuitive control scheme.

You're right, no human could ever program this on a 360!  It's unpossible!

You can't really say that yet.  Your mind is still stuck in the box of traditional control schemes.  Wait until such a game is actually made for Kinect and then maybe you will be able to start saying such things.

On a keyboard with WoW, I was able to do too many things in just a few seconds, given the right keybinds (and I had them).  Kinect would never give the same result.  Even more so in a PvP situation/Arena.  Maybe a future device, but from what I've played of Kinect so far, it has a long way to go.

How did you just agree with the point of a professional being able to do a better job than an inexperienced developer and then destroy what you you just agreed with. How bout we let the experienced Dev do the genres you mentioned. Also please elaborate on etc. Etc is used mainly to act as there is more examples when there is no more.

yeah I agree that kinect will never be used as the prime source for WOW etc but a game like black and white could be advantaged enormously. Also with Kinect you are not limited to gestures per se, you could be with a mouse and keyboard... to an extent obviously. There are some decent macros out there but for the common user Kinect may be easier.

It would depend on the resources used by it

Ah, so you think WoW graphics would stress the 360?
