It's probably a bit early for this, especially since half the poll candidates haven't gotten western releases yet, but it seems to be a hot topic at the moment so what the hell... what do you think will end up being the most innovative console JRPG this gen and why?

Feel free to suggest beyond just the poll options too, or to bring up any standout handheld entry you think worthy of the title too (like DQIX, TWEWY, 3rd Birthday, etc).

Two of the games haven't been released at all yet and one of them hasn't been outside of Japan. Of those that has been released, I have to give the nod to Valkyria Chronicles. Damn good game and it's unique in several ways.
