This, Wii Sports and games of this nature made a hard distinct line in the online gamer culture, making a 4 year war about how crappy it was and the gamers that played it wasn't gamers, now everyone is one big motion controlled happy family, and everyone else released their "tech demos" lol

Some honorable mentions were Chrono Cross, The Wind Waker (before release, after it seemed like everyone STFU), most Final Fantasy games now since they generally piss off the core Final Fantasy fans that won't stop buying them (IE me), and WoW has had the same effect of Wii Sports on MMOs "casuals" "you're not earning your ranks!" "when you die you should be punished!" and then everyone wanted to be them.

Also I don't see the hype behind Little King Story buuuuut it's not polarizing in the least, most people that play it, love it, others are just like *shrug* and don't hate it, unless you're hating the hype put behind it, which happens a lot (Killzone 2, reviewers on GT5, Halo ODST, The Conduit, and GTA IV)

@rolstoppable  beat me to the punch, I still dont see the fanfare behind WiiSports. Its on rail tennis, and some of your moves dont even register. At least Resort was a step in the right direction and generally better experience.  I think Majora's Mask was kinda polarizing people thought it was too weird, but for that reason alone it is my favorite Zelda in the series. It pushes the Zelda mechanics to the brink and still makes it feel familiar 10/10

Who doesn't like Kirby's Epic Yarn?  That's the best Wii game of 2010.

I would not call FFX polarizing.  While that game has its haters, it is from a vocal minority(especially TheSpoonyOne).  I am pretty sure FFX was the last game in the series where most people liked it(even TheSpoonyOne seems to know this).  In fact, I think it was X's sequel X-2 that really got the ball rolling for FF polarizing.
