So I visited my cousins today and somehow our conversation ended up being about Twilight. My cousin is a huge fan of the series, and she told me she was shocked that her brother's girlfriend didn't like Twilight and found it stupid and boring (his girlfriend's a huge literature buff).

She went on to say something along the lines of: "I don't understand how someone could like Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, but not like Twilight!!!"

Since it's Christmas I thought I'd share this quote and the gift of laughter with VGchartz members.

That's what I thought when I saw the title, but then I saw the user and thought.... no.... it can't be.

Everything i've read about Twightlight is that it's basically one of those trashy romance novel series with fabio on the front... except full of creepy abusive and violent behavior.

This seems like a very unusual opinion because most of the women I know who are actually avid readers and interested in reading literature have absolutely hated the Twilight series. Their core complaint seems to be that it is a harlequin romance novel that targets the immature romantic fantasies of teenage girls (and teenage girls at heart) that is wrapped in a facade of the vampire genre; while the author complete ignores all vampire lore, and hundreds of years of literary tradition about vampires.

Twilight is a uter gargbage.There nothing special about it.

The fact that people think this a piece of genies(sorry if I spelled it wrong) shocks me.
