Well I have a theory... Maybe Nintendo fans are claiming "Nintendomination" or "Nintendo is unstoppable" because there is some grudge about the fact Nintendo system got outsold 2 generations in a row. It's like there is a pain burried in their deepest inner and it just feels like they can smash Sony because they are jealous.
Console fans are really loyal to their respective system. Even if we try to awake them to this ridiculous reality, there's always something... comforting about seeing your console doing so well. And I hope everbody is comforted this gen, because it is indeed an incredible one for every home system. Each one is encountering success, even the PSP which sold 62 million even if it struggles right now in Americas.
As a very loyal Nintendo fanboy, I'm happy to see the Wii having so fantastic sales, even if I do know this is the weakest console. I know there's some little gems on the Wii, but I do know to that there are big flaws. What I'm hoping to is to see Nintendo make more and more powerful consoles as cash goes in, and make them improve their systems. There's a lot of room for improvement on the online, the flash memory and storage, the Wiiware service... and their fuckin prices on the Virtual Console games.
Nintendo is not unstoppable, but it is doing just fine because we, their fans, make them go back to their roots when they are missing the way. Nintendo survived 2 awful generations and it makes me happy, because I love them. Everybody love at least one of their franchise.
<3 Nintendo ^^
