Hrm I'm gonna check sources but I do believe that GoldenEye number you listed is first week not Nov since well many other sources mainly Nintendo and Activision said the title was selling after than MW last year, at 73k that'd be preposterous.

You work at gamestop, you're used to believe in PR lies. It makes total sense the game bombed with 73K units. Blops was released the following week..... the biggest release of the year.... HELLOOOO...... it killed any momentum 007 could achieve.

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Just listened to it, if anyone else wants to hear NPD numbers that start halfway through the podcast, and GoldenEye is right at the end.

I'm still really skeptical of that, NPD has been wrong in the past as well, I can pull up the IGN podcast after Moon released on DS and renegade kid knew their game sold more than what NPD put it at because of retailers selling out of their game and wanting more shipments.

When a couple of sources like Nintendo and Activision talk like they have a good number of how many units they sold and that number is higher than Reflex, which was 100k in 3 weeks, VGC numbers put GoldenEye at 170k-ish in 3 weeks which would line up with what publishers said, hopefully there's more talk about it's sales in the future.
