So, what have we here.
Apparently it has just been decided that if you're pro-PS3, you can't deliver MS articles, be they neutral or negative, as it can be construed that the messenger is stealth-trolling the system. If you're pro one system, you can't give news from another.
That's the basic message people are saying.
Though I don't see what the problem is.
News is news. It gets delivered. The only problem people have with this thread is the messenger. Now put on your thinking caps. If MUGEN was trying to troll, would he really just leave the article? Would he not also try to put a negative spin on it IF he were trying to troll?
Apparently stealth-trolling these days is defined as leaving an article out in the open and allow the members to put a negative spin on it. That makes no sense. The article was neutral. It wasn't pro or anti MS. It was just a piece of info. And is it not ironic the people who detected the "anti-MS" attitude in it were in fact, not the anti-MS guys, but the pro-MS guys?
Admit it: if a pro-MS guy delivered it, you wouldn't be having this argument. It's always how we view other people, it's always shooting the messenger, isn't it? Paranoia about alignment makes you think that if someone is for another console they always try to demean the other, even by the most SIMPLE act of posting an article that wasn't even negative and didn't even ATTEMPT to put a negative spin on it.
So what's the problem? There is no stealth-trolling, you guys just don't want negative news to be posted by fans of another console because, for some reason, that's considered "stealth-trolling."
