Other handhelds are a total failure in Switzerland.

It could be worse. Negative sales!

For some reason other handhelds accounted for negative revenue (-122 CHF), even though not a single unit was sold.

Hm, that's weird.

I'm also a bit curious what "other" handhelds are actually existing right now...

The only thing I know about Benelux in regards to gaming is that they LOVED MSX. <3 <3

Did you import (considering you live in the US) an MSX back in the day?

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

Nope.  My MSX fascination came years later through emulation.

Back then I had a NES and a Genesis.

I see. I actually had an MSX2 - Arabic. Had many classics, like 1942, Knightmare, Knightmare 2: Maze of Galious, Vampire Killer, Penguin Adventure, Metal Gear (unlike most people, who knew about it from the PS1 era), all the Konami sports games, King's Valley...I could go on and on. Then through emulation I got to play the games that never came to the West.

It's all Europe to me.

Thats a lot of PS3's for those 3 small ass countries.

Small countries, still a decent population together (almost 28 million so almost half of the UK's or France population)..One of the few Playstation regions in the world I guess...so far I know even not a X360 magazie :s

I wouldn't call it a playstation region because the 360 doesn't sell bad. The playstation brand is just more known here (thanks to ps2). But I notice its changing... Though i'd like more marketing from microsoft in Europe.. There is the official Benelux xbox magazine?

Well it is not selling bad like it is doing in Japan...but 1 million PS3 and maybe 600k X360's?

and it is harder to find X360 fans than PS fans;..

Yes it is improving...Especially compared to the original Xbox...=p..    And so far I know their is not official Benelux Xbox magazine?  Their is an official benelux PS magazine like after one year of the PS one's release?..well I was not in  the Benelux then =p..

Yeah that would be a good comparison :p. And it's a fact there are more ps fans than those of xbox (just need to look at my friends). But is has indeed improved much since the older xbox.

BeNeLux eh? haven't heard that term before...pretty catchy

Sounds like a cheap Vegas casino, to be honest.

how do these numbers compare to vgc's ones?

except for the UK , I am pretty sure PS3 is undertracked in PAL regions
