GT5 obviously hasn't been as impactful in Americas as much as the price cut/slim.
I don't see it beating last Dec's NPD either, at this rate it'll surpass it by a few 100'k
Greats sells for 360!! more than 300k over Ps3 Worldwide!! Halo Reach also gott a great week! 263k and that's means it passed 7 million mark! Microsoft is showing good stuff here!
I am calling for adjustments. 360 always gets the benifit of the doubt. Gets way over tracked, nothing new. And PS3 will get adjusted up, like it does every quarter. VGC has no clue. People who read to much into their numbers are bound to be disappointed soon enough. It isn't selling that well. Overestimating the sales power of Kinect.
What ever.. Won't be surprised if PS3 closes the gap again after this quarter is over after VGC says the 360 won. I say I won't be surprised because it will happen. 100%, even with the Kinect boost, it will flounder into oblivion. 1 million sold is wishful thinking. No news came from MS about it, when they do it, they always have press news stating it. Didn't happen, so I know it didn't happen. MS likes to hype their sales more than anyone. They prolly sold 100K less than it's shown.

GT5 was never suppose to have the impact you speak of in America. I am agreeing with you. I think the PS3 is having its best holidays in Europe while down in US, but Americas is a different story. Funny thing, GT5 is or about to finish first shipment in both Japan and NA, do people still believe there is so many left in Europe?
To me
Europe = PS3 way up
US= DOWN
NA= close
Japan = down

- Monster Wii and DS numbers as usual
- 360 has a 1 Million Week !!! Congrats MS !!! I think it'll do it back to back
- PS3 doing good. I think it has a shot to clear 1 Million next week because it has some deals similar to ones like the Walmart $100 giftcard ( I could be mistaken )
- GT5 is showing legs in NA and EMEAA. Japan not so much ...

Well it's had more time on the market then GT5. Besides, GT5 murders Forza in EMEAA and Japan. Comparing Forza to this is like comparing Halo to Killzone.
