Sorry Capcom but Amaterasu now belongs to NIntendo. Not a single word was giving about this. Could this be a game? a service? Nintendo's next console codename?

Nintendo kind of owns the rights to the Shinto sun goddess. They filed and successfully obtained trademarks for Amaterasu (in both katakana and kanji) for use with video games.

Amaterasu, according to Japanese mythology, is a radiant deity. She also appeared in a number of video games including Okami and Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4.

We’re not sure what Nintendo plans to do with "Ammy," but were curious.
