The overall story wasn't thatr great to me, but the main character was one of the best protagonists in a games this gen.
I am the Playstation Avenger.

Maybe if the Mexico storyline wasn't complete filler or there was actually something worth doing in the world other than the main storyline, I'd think it was that good. I'm just a little sick of all the attention and hype Rockstar manages to get around their games when both of them this gen have been pretty big disappointments in my book. I'm not touching LA Noire until it gets a big price drop as a consequence of this.
It was good but not great. It had some issues and the story was very boring at times.
It was a pretty good game, with an incredibly well designed world, horrible controls, great voice acting, a mixed story that was at times great, at other times horrible, boring mission structure (ride for 5 minutes to a place, watch 5 minute long cutscene, ride for 5 minutes to another place, shoot some people repeat), decent multiplayer, horrible ranching related activities...
I've never played a game that I loved and hated so much at the same time, at first I thought it was the most boring game I ever played (the ranching part), then I got really into it, then I got bored and stopped playing for several months (Mexico), then I got really into it again (end of Mexico and the part after it), and then the game reverted back to its most boring aspect (ranching) and the story went from good to awful
Was better than GTAIV at least

It is GTAIV in the wild west, and GTAIV was shit compared to previous GTAs. |
glad i'm not the only one on this site that thinks this lol
