Forums - Gaming - Gamespot Reviews Removed from Game Rankings

Here's an odd little tidbit.  Pull up any review on GameRankings, and you may notice something a little unusual.  Namely, that none of the Gamespot reviews are listed within there anymore.  This removal coming so soon after the recent Kane & Lynch review and Gertsmann firing debacle seems a little too coincidental to me.  Maybe GR is thumbing their nose at their corporate cousins?  (Both GameRankings and Gamespot are owned by CNET).

Gamespot reviews remain listed on Metacritic, another CNET affiliate.

PS:  For the Wii fanboys, Galaxy is still 0.062% behind Ocarina, sorry.

That's weird, with gamespot advertisments right on the site. Now super Mario 64 only has 19 reviews and is off the default top 10

What was GS score for SMG?

Quality for Life

I don't understand how this happened. They are both owned by CNET. Why would CNET ever allow one of their subsidiaries to remove ANOTHER of their subsidiaries from their list?

Wel apparently even CNet doesnt trust Gamespot anymore lol

@ Schwarz

Gamespot gave it a fair 9.5.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

heh, the removal of Gamespot's 9.5 brought SMG up .1% to a 97.5% again.
