Forums - General - The Epic Orchestra music thread

This is a thread dedicated to the emotional orchestrated music that envoke great emotion and awe.

Rules:

1. Only Orchestrated music, so no death metal, Lady Gaga, ect.

2. They must bring great emotion. It doesn't matter what emotion, as long as there is obviously something.

3. You may post, discuss, comment on, or request anything related to emotional, epic Orchestra music.

4. The source/reason for the orchestra can be anywhere. Movies, concert, even video games.

I'll start off with a little something from Drag me to Hell. Kind of a tacky movie, but no one can deny how amazing the music is. :)

That's beautiful. I love that movie, especially the music. Really sad, though....

I'll contribute with this piece by Joe Hisaishi.

Never fails to give me goosebumps ^_^.

Das Rheingold/Vorspiel (The Rhine Gold/Prelude) by Richard Wagner as used in a trailer for Siegfried, a (probably) upcoming animation movie by Alex Alice based on his own comic book series of the same name.

Say what you want about the movie, but don't you dare deny, that it had some epic music.

Demon Souls OST is terrific.

Bioshock OST is superb too.

Heavy Rain.

Hans Zimmer work for the Call of Duty series or Galaxy OST are very good too.

Time for some Epic orchestra songs!
