The best GT1 car?  What do you mean?  

I played GT1 back then, but I don't remember getting this car in the game.  Didn't play it to completion though.

This is currently the car I use the most in GT5.  I'm level 25 and that thing is a beast and fares quite well in the events available to me right now.  It took me a while to get used to its behavior, but I like it a lot now.

i mean like.. gt1 being a tier lower than formula cars.

Well, I don't know.  There might be better cars in that category.  But this is certainly the one that got my eye the most out of all of them.
