Forums - Gaming - Dragon Age II battle system explained

http://kotaku.com/5715110/dragon-age-ii-on-pc-doesnt-look-that-different

it looks nice, people thought its going to be hack and slash type, which might be true for the console versions.

its weird people complained that the battle system is crappy in the first and now they changed it, they complained that they changed it from the first.

People just hate radical changes. That is all.

now the question is were they playing on easy or has friendly been removed?

also I don't really like the new art style (and I usually prefer more stylised art)

and if that UI is final... Lets just say that the mod tools better be good...

And a lot of people did like the combat in the original so those people complaining about this isn't that strange.

Nope, it doesn't look much different beside the fact that is better graphically.

yea I learn't not to trust dragon age trailers, they don't represent the game at all.

stylisticly they are different, textures are cleaner looking lines are more sharply angled uses a brighter pallet etc, the only thing that looks really "better" is the animations. If you don't see it you don't see it...
