what does that mean? Never played the original but my kids did for a bit off of someones download..they liked it. How can they say that you can easily lose more time with it than any other game out in 2011? 2011 isn't even here yet. or is it in England? Oh sorry guy only the first 4 words of this message was aimed at you. What if Game Party 4 on kinect takes more of our time?

The world's first LittleBigPlanet 2 review has arrived, and it's a big fat ten out of ten in the new PlayStation Official Magazine UK, which is in subscribers' hands now.

The OPM review praises the sequel's "simple-to-grasp" creation tools, which it says make it "immediate and easy" to create inventive gameplay, while the single-player campaign has enough fun and creativity to keep you entertained.

"At the time, the original felt like an incredible creative kit, but one that required sweat, tears and the odd sulk," says OPM. "This, however, is full of simple-to-grasp tools, all with huge potential - and you could easily lose more time to LBP2 than any other game released in 2011."

It's a "hugely improved sequel," the mag concludes. Good stuff.

OPM's bumper January issue also includes massive previews of Uncharted 3, LA Noire plus new Killzone 3 details.

The mag's in shops on Wednesday, December 22 or you can buy it online and have it delivered to your door.

Pretty obvious I think.  LBP2 will launch with the most powerful creation tools on a console, with around 3 million users levels already in place from LBP, plus online, offline, coop modes, etc. and will probably see more than 3 million new user levels which, thanks to the insane level of new tools, will cover all game types as well.

In other words, should you chose, there will simply be more content you could lose time with in LBP2 than anything else... in theory.  They don't mean people are going to abandon CoD and sink their 300 hours or whatever into LBP2 instead.

But content wise, if you chose to plough through it all nothing comes close.

I still don't see it competing with Farmville though, no offense to LBP2 but that game is just too good to compete with.
