That is terrible news. He's a genious author, I've laughed my ribs in half over his Discworld books more than once! Just really, really sad...
Noooooooooooooooooo! He seems to have a fairly mild type, but it's such a sad disease. I love his books.

Damn. I'm just halfway trough The Last continent. The guy is a genious writer. Terrible news.

.
I only recently started reading his stories. Discworld is an incredible creation.
This news is sad.
(also for some reason when i first read the thread title i thought of Terry Gilliam for some reason)

i never heard of him.. recommendations on books? sucks to hear a fellow author (working on my own novel) get such a bad disease.

Nooooooooooo. This is so sad. I met him once, he gave me a muffin.
@ssj12
any of his books are genius, but my favourite is Thief of Time. It is probably best to start with Colour of Magic seeing as it is the first Discworld novel. Also his books for youngers readers such as, The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents, The Wee Free Men are just as imaginative and funny.

Ha! i have "The amazing Maurice..." funny but simple [it is for children after all]
The other books i have are The Colour of Magic, Soul Music, The Truth and Thud!
I think "The Truth" is my favourite.
