Well, it has two different games that function on it. I really think you're being nitpicky if you're gonna say a constant flow of releases and having sports packages/tiny discs has anything to do with being a platform. Besides, it may still have releases on the way, :O! You never know...

Kinect sales are excellent. If it is a platform then so is Iphone4 which I'm sorry to say as I despise all Apple whores, shat all over Kinect sales.

Kinect, Move, WM , Wii Balance Board, PS Eye...all fall into the same category whether we like that or not.

This not a matter of debate or semantics, it's fact.   You may not like it and feel Kinect deserves special recognition but it doesn't given the classification of the type of hardware product that Kinect is.
