Just one store that's selling the Platinum edition, but I've also seen copies inside Game, Gamestation and HMV too, lol. (They use the new platinum case, TheHut just don't have a new image)

Lifetime it's not going to beat both God of War and God of War II combined, although it will sell more than both of them individually, unless you count the God of War Collection as sales towards the first two, lol.

I reckon the game will sell around 4m copies by the end of this year (Next two weeks I'm expecting some big(ger) numbers from Sony's first party games), and will go on to sell an extra 1-1.5m lifetime, so somewhere around the 5.25m range.

Well deserved though if you ask me.

GOW3 deserves more sales tbh, its still doing well but it shoulda sold more imo

I've got no idea why their release date is so late, but I'm atleast 90% sure I've seen them in store, the reason it's not 100% is because there is a chance it wasn't God of War III but something with a very similar case, lol. I'm going into town on Boxing Day anyway, so I'll take some pics if I see them there, lol.

To get the Platinum title, a game needs to be on store for at least a year. I highly doubt it's Platinum right now.
