Have you ever robbed somebody ? Or atleast assisted in the robbery ? I'm not talking about pulling out a weapon and threatening to buck someone if you don't get the money ... but have you ever robbed someone for their chain, iPod, wallet, etc ? I was walking with a couple of my boys and we came upon this white kid. He was small so any of us can take him one - on - one. One of my friends brushed him and another one demanded him to hand over his phone. He did right away. And we left. I felt like I assisted in the robbery since I didn't say or do anything. So, anyone else got stories ?

Closest i've come to stealing something is when I was VERY young like, before I was even in school, I didn't tell a friend he left this one part of a toy at my house... which I always thought was real cool, shortly after we moved.

After about 2-3 weeks I felt so horrible I begged my parents to send the thing back through the mail.  They called his parents, the parents said to not bother, I don't think the kid even minded, so they never did no matter how much I asked them to return the thing.

Kept it in my toy drawer as a reminder.

Then it got lost somehow, go figure.  It's a shame.

After that though, i've been very anti-stealing. 

Robbing people is probably a bit too specific, doubt many have been in that situation.

As for "assisted crimes," worst I've done has all been in school with friends... either stealing food (chips / drinks) for lunch, or just being present as friends kinda bully others. I'd never actually mess with people myself, but looking back on it, my mere presence definitely places me among the guilty

As long as you didn't encourage or aid the robbery, you're legally in the clear.  Sounds like you're still troubled by your silence though, which is a good sign.
