Finished it in normal, hard and chaos and nota single bug. Buy it new.

No glitches/bugs whatsoever. Played it through 3 Times without fail.

How much free space you got on your HDD ?

Heaps, I think. I've got a 150Gig HDD, and I don't have all that much stuff on it. Some photos, a few PSN titles and demos and one or 2 game installs. Got 67 Gig left.

Game freezing, background music looping, game freezing when trying to save. Seem to happen after upgrading a weapon, or rather after opening the weapon upgrade menu, because going back to the game without upgrading a weapon. Sometimes moving through into a new section requiring a brief load.

Does the game takes more than normal to load in the xmb ?

Try cleaning your blu-ray drive lens.

I have finished the game 6 times, the last one being Deimos XD; and I didnt experience any glitch at all.

EDIT: Now that I remember my brother experienced a problem similiar to your´s. He upgrded his HDD and the problem dissapeared.
